HELP on na-net whois:
To use whois, send a message to address@hidden,
with a name or keywords in the message body.
To search for a person by name:
In the body of the message, type the first and/or
last name of the person you are looking for. For
example, a query like:
John Doe
would print out any records from the database that
had a name field containing "John" and another name
field containing "Doe".
To search for a person by keyword:
In the body of the message, type a field name, then a
colon (':'), then the search string you are looking for.
For example, the query:
affiliation: Tennessee
will match any record containing the word "Tennessee".
The field name "keyword" will cause na-net to search
all fields in each record (except name fields and telephone
numbers).
The keywords are:
affiliation city-state-zip country e-mail-address
fax first-name home-address home-phone
last-name middle-name office-address office-phone
other other-name research
Any number of search strings may appear on a line, which
will require some field in a record to contain all of
those strings in order to match the query.
Both keywords and query strings are case-insensitive.
