Dear Peregrine Customer:

Thank you for contacting Peregrine Systems Technical Support. To 
better serve you, emails are now being processed automatically 
and routed to the appropriate Support Team. In order for this to 
occur, emails must follow a specific format so that they can be 
accurately parsed. If they do not follow the format they will 
need to be processed manually and this can lead to delays in their
routing. Attached is a generic copy of the Email Template that you
can modify for your specific request. Using this template ensures
that the proper Technical Support Engineer will be assigned to 
your Service Request as quickly as possible. 

Please note that your current Service Request has been received 
and will be processed manually, but in the future please submit 
emails to Support using the attached Template. Instructions for 
using the Template are at the bottom of this email. There is no 
need to resubmit this Support request.

We understand that this is somewhat more involved than a simple 
email. To simplify this, we have provided a form on the Peregrine
Technical Support Web site (http://support.peregrine.com) that 
will handle creating your Service Request automatically. Also, 
while you are there, check out the Support Knowledge Base. It is 
filled with useful information and resolutions to common problems.
 
Automatic routing of incoming telephone calls has greatly increased 
our ability to get you to the correct Support Engineer in a more 
timely fashion. This new email process allows us to provide you 
the same service when email is your preference.

Template Instructions

1. Save the attached text document to your hard drive.
(Peregrine_TS_EmailTemplate.txt)
2. Start a new email to address@hidden
3. Open the Peregrine_TS_EmailTemplate.txt document that you saved 
   in step 1.
4. Copy all text from the Peregrine_TS_EmailTemplate.txt file and 
   paste it into the new email
5. Fill in the template, paying close attention to the Customer ID 
   and the Product    values. Make sure the Product value you use is 
   one of the valid values listed at the bottom of the template.
