I wanted to build GnuGS 5.50, but although instructions and
makefile were provided for MSVC++5, I don't have that
compiler - I have MSVC++6. I tinkered around with the make
and got it to build without much trouble at all. However,
I get a lot of compiler warnings. The ones that trouble me
most are the ones that complain of unary minus being applied
to unsigned values. In simple tests, the resulting executable
seems to work OK. Should I worry about these (and a bunch of
other) compiler warnings? Is there an established way to
ring-out my executable?
Thank you very much for any help.
