Mmm, when running gettextize by hand, yes. Does autoreconf not call
gettextize?
Perhaps related: I have a Makevars.in file because we generate Makevars
from configure's GETTEXT_PACKAGE, PACKAGE_BUGREPORT etc. definitions.
If I make sure to have a po/Makevars file from the start (as Makevars.in
is supposed to produce), I don't have the issue indeed.
