With respect, I disagree.
There were 6 items I wanted to see fixed in the next release:
1. All important build problems.
2. Most issues marked "Important" in the bug tracker:
#46756
#50910
#50920
#51027
3. #54809
Among these, 1. and #50910 are fixed.
The other 4 issues need to be fixed as well. I am currently working on
#51027 and #54809.
If, for some reason, I stop pushing commits for a longer time, please
make a release. If not, you can assume that it will not take too long
until the remaining 4 issues are fixed; then it would be good to make a
release.

I agree that it would be nice to fix this, because it has been reported
as an important issue by several people. But I don't know how complex
it is (haven't looked). Maybe it is simple after all?
