It seems that gettext-runtime/tests/test-lock.c is not in sync with the
latest gnulib. Could you try:
$ cp gettext-tools/gnulib-tests/test-lock.c gettext-runtime/tests
$ sed -i 's,glthread/,,g' gettext-runtime/tests/test-lock.c
and make again?
