[bug-gettext] problem with address@hidden and address@hidden files

Hello.

When I follow the advice in node po/LINGUAS and add address@hidden and 
address@hidden
to my LINGUAS file, I end up with problems.  The machinery that creates
these files (which is hard to follow!) ends up adding a \n to the end of
each msgstr even if the original msgid does not have one. For example:

#: array.c:366
msgid "attempt to use a scalar value as array"
msgstr "attempt to use a scalar value as array\n"

Then trying to create the gmo file fails with lots of errors.

This sure looks like a bug. :-)
