I just ran ./configure.
It prints something like this
./configure
loading cache ./config.cache
checking host system type... powerpc-apple-darwin7.2.0
checking target system type... powerpc-apple-darwin7.2.0
checking build system type... powerpc-apple-darwin7.2.0
*** This configuration is not supported in the following subdirectories:
bfd opcodes gdb
(Any other directories should still work fine.)

I guess this means that I can't build GDB on my PPC? If this is
correct, it would have been be helpful if this was made a little bit
more clear so I didn't have to hunt around for the binary that isn't
there.
