Subject: | GDB960 debugger running on linux, for mon960 version 3.3.2 |

I am looking for a gdb960 that is running on Linux
desktop (RedHat 7.0), and can download over the serial port
to some embedded hardware that I have.
I have one, but it wont download files to the
target, instead prefers a "core dump".
the command (gdb960) target mon960
/dev/ttyS0 does not connect with the autobaud of the
mon960 software debug monitor
program. Of course the INTEL CTOOLS version 6.0 and 6.5
both
can cannect to this remote hardware and do download
files at 115200 baud rate. Takes about 35 seconds
to download 1 megabyte at 115200 baud rate over the
serial line.
What do you have that works. Yes, I
tried downloading the GDB 5.1 version and compiling. I have
problems
and it did not work for me.
