Follow-up Comment #8, bug #26701 (project findutils):

This bug is still there in findutils-4.5.10. While looking for the current
state of fnmatch in gnulib, I found that you encountered this problem already
in 2005 and from the state of discussion, it seemed that it was fixed back
then?

(I have no idea about automake and hence was not being able to test gnulib's
current fnmatch implementation).
