It depends if you are looking at ftp.gnu.org or alpha.gnu.org.
I release all findutils releases to alpha.gnu.org. Once the code has
proved "stable" (i.e. builds on most systems, no significant known
bugs or documentation problems, etc.) I put a release on ftp.gnu.org.
