The man pages are automatically generated by a program help2man which
uses the program's --help output to create a syntax reference. As
long as the program's --help output is kept up to date with the
program's options then the man page automatically tracks. Therefore
the man page will generally be the same as the --help output. This
makes a resonable syntax reference but is very terse. The info pages
can go into more detail and be a more usable user guide.
