Hello,

I just saw the announce of ddrescue and it looks like a real great tool.
I thought a couple times of writing something like this, but didn't.
Thanks a lot for saving me the work and delivering a better result! :-)

I do have one question, though: Would it fit easily in your code to add
a flag that does not copy data by all means, but wipes out whatever can
be wiped out, possibly even using the logfile approach to run it multiple
times with trying just what could not be wiped before?

That way, I could ddrescue otherwise lost data, then erase what can be
erased and file a RMA case without having to rely on the RMA department
to destroy data.

Keep up the good work,

Michael
