Dear sirs,
I want to install ddd 3.3.1 on solaris 2.7
While doing the gnu make I always get the error message

> c++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I. -I./.. -isystem /usr/openwin/include
> -DNDEBUG -O2 -g -W -Wall -trigraphs  -c PannedGE.C

> gmake[1]: Leaving directory `/disk-c/hiller/ddd/ddd-3.3.1/ddd'
> gmake: *** [all-recursive] Error 1

I already asked you what the reason could be, and you recommended me:

> The fix is in the CVS repository of ddd.

So, I tried (as written in the README-CVS file)

cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.ddd.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/ddd login

and got
Logging in to :pserver:anonymous@cvs.ddd.sourceforge.net:2401/cvsroot/ddd
CVS password:
and then a time out.

There is my problem: we are behind a firewall which does not allow port 2401.
Do you have any other suggestions what I could do to install ddd correctly?

Regards and thank you for your answer, Ulrich Hiller
