1) this may belong on info-cvs but because it is a configuration error instead
of a fault in the way CVS is programmed it does not belong on bug-cvs.
(bug-cvs is getting a BCC as I move this to info-cvs)

Dear CVS users community,
I am getting below error for any CVS action i do in WinCVS or in command
line. I have my CYGWIN SSH configured perfectly so that i just no need to
enter my password. WinCVS was working fine till yesterday I installed some
important Windows Updates.
2) OK, you are using WinCVS which IIRC uses CVSNT as it's client underneath so
this may belong more on on of their lists or the WinCVS list.
Following list borrowed from Arthur Barrett
CVSNT newsgroup:
http://www.cvsnt.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/cvsnt
or
news://news.cvsnt.org/support.cvsnt
WinCVS newsgroup:
http://groups.yahoo.com/subscribe/cvsgui
TortoiseCVS newsgroup:
http://sourceforge.net/mail/?group_id=48103
But it sounds like your ssh client is having trouble making connections.
Have you tried to ssh to the server with the same user@host info you give CVS
in the $CVSROOT variable? Does it work or fail?
What was updated in the Windows Update? (actually don't answer that on THIS
list, unless you can narrow down the list to one or two items you think are
messing up your connection.)
Would anybody help me to get rid of this error?

Thanking you..,
