I've now installed this patch.  The fix will go out with 1.11.23 and
1.12.14.

Larry Jones pointed out in a separate thread that path normalization is
probably best, and on further consideration, I agree with him, assuming
he just means condensing // and /./, but I haven't coded anything to
this effect.
