Has anyone seen anything like the corruption in the retrieved archive? Not I. What is the likelihood that someone manually modified the ,v file? Out of curiosity, does the validate_repo script pick up the original corruption?
the check_cvs (later renamed to validate_repo??) included with cvs-1.11.19-9 on FC4 shows:
List of corrupted files **** File: make-two-1.4/corruptfile **** File: make-two-1.4/corruptfile1 Total Files: 42 Total Revisions: 15 Interesting Revisions: 12I had copied corruptfile,v to corruptfile1,v in the repo before running the last two lines of Derek's script.
So I would say, YES it finds the problem existing. -- Todd Denniston Crane Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC Crane) Harnessing the Power of Technology for the Warfighter
