Follow-up Comment #1:
I need to know if this can be duplicated using the version of CVS in the CVS
repository. I recently checked in a change to make sure server_hostname was
always initialized for an unrelated reason and this may prevent this crash.
Instructions for getting the source from CVS are here:
<http://savannah.nongnu.org/cvs/?group=cvs>. If you can still crash your
version of CVS, a stack trace from the core dump would be informative.
Closing, since I need more information and the reporter did not provide his
or her email address to be cc'd on updates to this issue. If the reporter
sees this and would like to respond, please reopen this bug.
Thanks,
