Hi Blake.

You can also achieve this by adding an entry to your
${HOME}/.ssh/config file, e.g.:

Host my_cvs_server
    HostName cvs.foo.bar
    Port 2000

and then
export CVS_RSH=ssh
export CVSROOT=":ext:my_cvs_server:/cvsroot"
