AIX: Terminated with fatal signal 11

Hello,
On an AIX box, cvs version 1.11.9 (server & client), I
get the following problem. I have a huge file (~70MB)
which checks out fine if i dont use pserver [cvs -d
/path/to/repository co hugeFileDir] . But when i try
to do the same thing with pserver, I get the signal 11
exception. I was wondering if anyone could elaborate
more on this behaviour, and suggest a way to make it
work with the pserver.
Regards
Srimanth.
