cvs export problem |

Hi,
We have a problem with cvs export (and sometimes update too), where we get
this kind of errors:
cvs export: cannot write <file>: i/o error
cvs [export aborted]: cannot rename file <file>_new_ to <file>: no such
device or address
The CVS client is running on OpenVMS, the server is a linux machine. We
sometimes have observed the problem when using WinCVS too (with drives
mapped to the VMS machine using VMS Advanced Server), but at the moment we
get the error only when exporting from the VMS client,- the WinCVS client
can export without errors.
Is there any way we can find out what is causing these errors? We think it
may be related to the filesystem on the VMS machine, but have not been able
to locate the error. The same CVS export runs fine on another (slower) VMS
machine.
