This should be a harmless warning, but you can suppress it by creating
an empty file with that name.
> cvs checkout: unrecognized auth response from 10.200.4.198: no repository
> configured in /etc/cvs/cvs.conf
There's no such message in standard CVS -- you'll have to ask whoever
created the modified version of CVS that you're running.
