I know little about the NT server, but I think this problem has surfaced quite
a few times due to SMB mounted drives.  I think if the drive is exported via
samba, you can change the server configuration to get around it.

That said, it is generally considered very dangerous to use CVS with a
network-mounted repository.  You may want to reconsider your setup.

Search the mailing list archives for more.  Like I said, this problem has come
up quite a few times.
