Hello,

thank you very much for providing puppy. I like it because my computer is very old and puppy is fast enough on it, in contrary to the big distributions.

I have found some bugs in the puppyLinux distribution pup-431_universal.iso, downloaded at 2010.2.5. which I want to let you know of:

1. The distribution lacks portmap, so no nfs mount is possible. I took portmap as a binary file from a DSL ditribution, and that worked well
2. The distribution lacks library libgtkembedmoz.so
3. If there is a second NIC in the computer, the configuration of that one is not saved 4. The distribution lacks rsh and rlogin. Not absolutely necessary, but it would be nice if they were present. I took them (binary files) from an old Suse Unix, and that worked well

Perhaps it will be possible that you give me a short notice when there is a new distribution available with these bugs eliminated.

Thank you very much and best regards

Hartmut Schwab
