I had this problem with an old version of md5sum. See
attached. I don't know if it has been fixed in the new
version I have now:
md5sum (GNU textutils) 2.0 Win32

I couldn't find the changelog.

Since I'm writing, there's also something that bothers
me with this version. The \ that's added to the
beginning of the md5sum when going outside the
directory. Like so:

I:\temp>md5sum ..\drivekey\*
\88ea633d68099cdbf637465d6e841061
*..\\drivekey\\EULA.doc
\11819c6cb0036aa5fde20804bcc1ac3a
*..\\drivekey\\HPUSBF.EXE
\2b9b789296505f3eb8c4c3715d339077
*..\\drivekey\\HPUSBFW.EXE

Is it supposed to be like that? because I don't
remember that \ being prepended in older versions.

Thanks for reading & please don't give out my e-mail.
