Installing binaries in 5.2.1

Hi,

Does coreutils 5.2.1 support installation of binaries in different
prefixes (/ and /usr)?. I still have installed coreutils 5.0 and i
had to copy manually all the needed binaries to /bin y /sbin, i just
want to be sure i can do it before installing 5.2.1
