Thanks for reporting that.
What type of system were you using?
Were you logged on to its console or accessing it remotely?
If remotely, via what program/protocol?  i.e. did you telnet
to it, or use rlogin/ssh/rsh?

In any case, would you please rerun the test like this:

  cd tests/stty
  env VERBOSE=yes make check TESTS=row-col-1

and send me the output?
