[Bug awt/28571] New: addNotify() on a Canvas destroys the pref size

A canvas's preferred size should be, and remain, whatever the user sets the
size to, if they've done so. Currently this isn't working right, and it caused
an exception in MegaMek since the code expected a non-zero preferred size to be
returned.
