I've recently compiled cross compiler using crosstool-0.28-rc37. While
doing so, I've used binutil 2.15. Combination of GCC-3.2.3 and
GLIBC-2.2.5 using 2.4.21 kernel files.
When I used the powerpc-linux-* binaries to compile u-boot-1.1.2, it
compiled fine, but died while running powerppc-linux-ld.
After doing little testing, I was able to complete ld'ing after
removing the line which read "-Map u-boot.map". I was told that I
should inform binutil people about this happening.
Anyway, the exact error that I got with the "-Map" option, is simple
"segmentation fault"
well.. that's all folks.
PS. when I ran crosstool, I gave 603e as a target.
