time outputed: "sys .-,/0,/m,/.433s"

Using GNU bash, version 2.03.0(1)-release (i386--netbsd)
which was installed via NetBSD packages collection (bash-2.03).

I received output that was not formatted. See example using bash built-in
time (not /usr/bin/time):

 rainier:/usr/pkgsrc$ time make clean
...
 real    17m47.457s
 user    4m51.162s
 sys     .-,/0,/m,/.433s

Notice how the above for "sys" didn't show time.

I was unable to reproduce this.

I do not know if it is a NetBSD or bash issue.
