Hello!

While trying to prepare a LaTeX file with nice umlauts that appear too in the *output* buffer, I get one with this contents and no useful output files:

Running `LaTeX' on `~/Library/texmf/Mist/_region_' with ``pdflatex "\nonstopmode\input{_region_.tex}"''
        This is pdfeTeX, Version 3.141592-1.30.4-2.2 (Web2C 7.5.5)
        entering extended mode
        LaTeX2e <2003/12/01>
Babel <v3.8d> and hyphenation patterns for british, french, german, ngerman, no
        hyphenation, loaded.

        (./_region_.tex)
        ! Emergency stop.
        <*> \nonstopmode\input{_region_.tex}

        No pages of output.
        Transcript written on _region_.log.

        LaTeX exited abnormally with code 1 at Mon Nov 7 12:16:55

I have no _region_ files! My source is AUC.tex.
