Remember to cover the basics, that is, what you expected to happen and
what in fact did happen.
Be sure to consult the FAQ section in the manual before submitting
a bug report. If the bug (or problem) is triggered by a specific
(La)TeX file, you should try to produce a minimal sample file
showing the problem and include it in your report.
Your bug report will be posted to the AUCTeX bug reporting list.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Attached is a minimal example according to my common setup. I'm sharing
files and directories between different projects.
Now my problem:
a) if there's no auto directory - this happens, because I'm
autogenerating files - I have to do the following, if I want to edit
a_02.tex and want support from auctex/style/listings.el
1) I have to change(!) and save m-cfg.tex
2) I have to change(!) and save m.tex (in this sequence)
to generate auto and the specific files
3) I can happily edit a_02.tex
b) if there is auto and all the specific files are around and I want to
edit a_02.tex
1) I have to load m-cfg.tex
2) I have to load m.tex (in this sequence)
3) I can happily edit a_02.tex
c) if I just want a little change in a_02.tex and I forget b) I'm
fooled, neither loading m-cfg.tex and m.tex afterwards, nor deleting the
buffer a_02.tex and loading m-cfg.tex, m.tex and a_02.tex again helps,
the style support is unreachable.
I find this behaviour annoying, couldn't there be a better solution than
doing that stuff all by hand?
