Hi Blake,

please try *SVN 1159*. I have done quite a few changes since *1158* and
I only
remember that I fixed your problem at some point in time but not what the
reason was.

What I do remember is that I was able to reproduce the fault on a 64-bit box
but not on my 32-bit box. I then fixed the problem on the 64-bit box and
checked
that the problem no longer occurred. The fix was most likely reverting
SimpleString.hh to an earlier version. That reversion unfortunately
brought an
older problem back to life which was creating too many stale *UCS_string*s.

The *SVN 1159* supposedly fixes both problems now and - at least on my
64-bit box - your problem has disappeared. Please keep me posted if your
problem persists on your machine.
