I haven't looked. I believe there is a J port, and I heard about an APL as well.

HTML views can certainly be embedded, but I'd argue that it would not be ideal to base an Android version on the _javascript_ port, but rather compile the C++ code directly to native ARM code and put a Java-based user interface on top (Android UI code is generally written in Java).

That would be fine. I don't know anything about Android, but is it possible
to embed a _javascript_/html/css web app in some Android bundle?

BTW. Which are (right now) the competitors (APL interpreters running in Android)?
