Problem trying to install a2ps version 4.13b

Subject: Problem trying to install a2ps version 4.13b

Hi,

I am trying to compile the a2ps program on our Sun Solaris:

$ version
Machine hardware:   sun4u
OS version:         5.6
Processor type:     sparc
Hardware:           SUNW,Ultra-Enterprise

The following components are installed on your system:

Sun WorkShop Compiler C 4.2
Sun WorkShop Compiler C++ 4.2
Sun WorkShop Tools.h++ 7.0
Sun WorkShop Tools.h++ 6.0.4

The problem appears by running the ./configure program. See output at the
end of this mail.

I am not logged in as "root". Instead I am attempting to compile the
software under my own
private account. Is that the reason?

I would appreciate some advice.

Kind regards
