Sure, if you can switch to HDMI 1.4a frame packed mode, and your projector supports it, that's the safest way to go.

"
HDMI1.4a frame packed is a special thing, and can usually be triggered by setting the graphics card resolution to 1920x2205p or 1280x1470p. Sometimes, this requires setting a custom resolution on your display driver. You can usually find that kind of information on 3D gaming forums, such as http://www.mtbs3d.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?f=84&t=10072
Alternated modes can usually be obtained either using either OpenGL quad-buffer or alternating modes, seehttp://bino3d.org/doc/bino.html#Output-Techniques for a list of supported output modes in Bino.

"

If someone has experience on HDMI 1.4a frame packed on Linux + i915, please share it !

Dear Fred,

Thank you for the prompt reply. It is really sad to hear that I'll have to go to Windows to get this working...

The computer I'm using for this is a 2014 model, the lenovo yoga 11s. Regarding Intel graphics and 3D, I could find some information like this:

But I'm no expert on the subject, can we try something like this? I could probably try to patch the bino code if you give me some instruction.

PS. The software alternating of the Windows version of Bino performed even worse in my system.
