Dear bino list
I just bought a 3D-ready projector (BenQ W710ST) capable of
DLP-link and NVIDIA 3D vision. I'd like to try the 3D feature by
playing a 3D movie from my computer. I use Ubuntu Linux as
my desktop, bino came out on the top of my google search.
I am pretty new to bino, I'd like to know the hardware
requirement in order to send a 3D movie signal from my PC
to projector, especially:
1) what kind of graphics card I should use to play a 3D
movie for a DLP-link projector? I have two desktops with
ATI graphics cards, a slate PC and two Thinkpads with
Intel HD graphics cards. What specs are critical for 3D to
work?
2) what kind of cable/connector I should use to connect my
PC with my projector? HDMI 1.3 cable only? or VGA will also
work?
your input is highly appreciated! thanks
Qianqian
