And now Bino uses a high-precision texture format for the intermediate
representation of such video data (RGB16 with linear RGB values) so that
the extra information is not lost during color space conversion.

You can now watch your high-value-range video files without loss of
information. This is most useful if you have a high end graphics card
that offers 30 bits per pixel color depth (10 bits for each of R, G, B),
and of course a display that can handle that color depth.
