[be] Export to Openoffice PROBLEM

As explained in my previous e-mail, my team member and I have newly installed operating systems (Linux Mint 9). Bibledit 4.1 was installed from the same source files. My .bibledit data was copied to Anna's computer. Both Anna and I have pristine versions of Openoffice, with no files brought over from a backup. Everything should be the same. On Both computers, we stopped using an old Bibledit stylesheet, and created and switched to a new style sheet. (And the problems I will describe happen no matter if the new stylesheet used is the “SIL best practice” or the “All” sheet.) (Using the SIL best practice sheet will result in an error message that two minor markers are unrecognized. The All sheet exports with no errors.)

Exporting to Openoffice on Anna's computer results in the fonts in Openoffice being all (or predominately) 120 points. HUGE. This is the size of chapter headings and regular text. I looked at the settings on Anna's Bibledit Preferences > Printing. The header font size is 12.0 pt, NOT 120 points. I changed it to 11pt, but this made no difference in the output. The problem is that the style sheet in Openoffice has been changed to large fonts. I can manually correct the problem by modifying each of the styles in Openoffice one by one.

In spite of identical set up, exporting to Openoffice on my computer never has resulted in huge fonts. But today, I cannot seem to export the book of Acts. The resulting file is corrupt and Openoffice refuses to load it. So I installed Abiword. Abiword complains that the file has errors. The Abiword file starts with a set of footnotes on a page before Chapter one, and then ends at about chapter 19. Is this just spiritual warfare, or what?!

I can't see why identical setup, on newly installed operating system, and using the same .bibledit files should result in such different results. Can anyone help?

Phil
