In fact it's called when gtk_toggle_button_set_state is called. I
discovered it yesterday in status.c (when i added show_status_level pref).
It is avoidable by installing the handlers after setting the radio buttons
states, but in your case (where eb_radio() does all the work) you have no
choice but your workaround ;-)
