[Axiom-mail] Compiling Axiom

Hello,
I compiled axiom at work using Red Hat Fedora Core 2 without any problems.
Axiom does not run when I type "axiom". It returns "Could not find a 
free pty" instead.
However, it seems to run fine if I execute "AXIOMsys" in its 
installation directory.
I have the same system at home and axiom would not compile for some reason.
My guess is that some packages are missing from my Fedora Core 2 home 
installation.
But I can not figure out which ones. The compilation error that I 
receive is included below.
Unfortunately, I am not a programmer so I can not figure out what it is 
saying.
I would greatly appreciate any help regarding the compilation issue.
I am a theoretical mathematician and would like to use axiom to evaluate 
a rather difficult
integral.
