Thanks for adding the patch.

I compiled all the algebra files a while ago. The problem
had been the out-of-date database files. It's not related
to the macroexpansion problem. I posted the
results to the list at that time 
(http://www.uni-mainz.de/~weiss/axiom.algebra.jw.20030810.tgz).
