Follow-up Comment #24:
Fixed for firmware versions < 7.x (where it didn't work for
me either), in SVN r1077.
Fixing for firmware >= 7.x will involve some more magic, as
we presumably have to issue the new Xmega device descriptor
there, and have to refrain from applying NVM controller
offsets as part of the memory address. Sheesh.
