... which brings me to my next question, which is probably OT for this forum but
I'll take a shot anyway.  :)

Which debugWIRE configuration do I use for avarice on a Dragon under Linux?
When using the debugWIRE-fused chip, I can connect with gdb and it shows the
program counter (0), but stepi doesn't work.

Haven't tried the non-debugWIRE chip, but it seems like that configuration would
be counterproductive.

Or, does this mean that if I'm going to use avarice+gdb then I have to program
the chip with avarice and not avrdude?
