I tried to get a connection between my prototype board and my PC via the
avr910 programmer and avrdude 4.1.0 but the connection failed.
My avr910 contains software version avr910-22.asm and avrdude reports
(correctly) supported devices are ... 0x68 .... .
0x68 = At90S8535 thats the chip I want to see in terminalmode with
avrdude -p 8535 -c avr910 -t
The complete log is:
C:\WinAVR>AVRDUDE -p 8535 -c avr910 -t
Found programmer: Id = "AVR ISP"; type = S
Software Version = 2.2; Hardware Version = a.`
Programmer supports auto addr increment.
Programmer supports the following devices:
Device code: 0x55
Device code: 0x56
Device code: 0x13
Device code: 0x20
Device code: 0x28
Device code: 0x38
Device code: 0x48
Device code: 0x4c
Device code: 0x34
Device code: 0x30
Device code: 0x6c
Device code: 0x68
Device code: 0x65
Device code: 0x60
Device code: 0x64
Device code: 0x41
Device code: 0x42
AVRDUDE: error: selected device is not supported by programmer: 8535
What's wrong? Are there major changes from avr910-22.asm to avr910-23.asm?
Alexander
PS: I will retry it tomorrow with the actual avr910.asm in the cvs on the
web site.
PPS: Why is the avr910-23.asm or even better the hex/bin-image file not
included in the avrdude410 zip archive?
