[avr-gcc-list] Need help buying hardware debugger

Hi,
I am looking to buy a hardware debugger to use on my AVR micros but am 
confused, looking on the AVRfreaks page I see the JTAGCable I and the AVR ICE, 
what would I need or are both basically the same?
