[avr-gcc-list] WinAVR and AVRstudio

Hello，
I am new to avr gcc.
I find that AVRstudio and WinAVR can be use. It seems WinAVR is newer than 
AVRstudio.
I don't know which one is better for the beginning of the programming for 
atmega128L.
Please give me some suggestion or tell me something about the two things.
