[avr-chat] linuxspi programmer-id

Hey Everybody,

I was just looking at the avrdude fork that includes linuxspi and
noticed that functionality hasn't been pulled into mainline avrdude.
Is there a reason for this? If not, is someone working on doing this?

Buildroot uses avrdude and the package has been targetting this fork
of avrdude and it would be nice to consolidate if possible.
