Ah, sorry then; I usually employ the term "developers" or "package authors"
to indicate Automake's users, and "users" to indicate the users of Automake
based packages (they can be either final users, or maintainers of Linux
distros' packages or FreeBSD ports).

In the light of your precisation above, I can say that we are in violent
agreement then ;-)
