Hello Ralf,

thanks again for your suggestions. The doc. for AUCTeX Viewing options is
very well made and fairly easy to understand. I tried to customize
"TeX-output-view-style"; I press the «DEL» button to erase the first entry,
the one relating to pstricks and psfrag styles; this entry desappeard when
I hitted the «DEL» button. Then I went on pressing the «Save for Future
Sessions» button and I got a Lisp error. The content of the Backtrace
buffer follows.

Debugger entered--Lisp error: (void-function recentf-expand-file-name)

Do
M-x customize-variable <RET> TeX-output-view-style <RET>
and either remove the entry which refers to pstricks or specify the
viewer as in the entry for viewing DVI files.

The viewing options are also described in the manual at
(info "(auctex)Viewing") <-- Type `C-x C-e' here
